Festive feels competition worth more than £150

What does this season look like on your boat? Do you truly deck the hulls? Or are your twinkling lights accompanied by a warming stove?  

We want all the Christmas feels on and beside the water from you, so this December we are launching a photography competition giving you the chance to win a fantastic bespoke hand-woven blanket worth £125 from Gillyflower - The Narrowboat Weaver, plus a magazine subscription of your choice!

About the Gillyflower Narrowboat Weaver, Peri

Peri has lived on her 55ft narrowboat Gillyflower for 7 years, and since the first lockdown in 2020 Peri began her wonderful bespoke weaving business from her boat, you will often find her along the towpath of the canals with her loom. Each scarf, blanket and throw woven is unique to each customer.

This bespoke prize woven by Peri, will be made to order woven from colours of your choice, which is a perfect way to match your boat colour scheme!

To enter:

1. Snap a festive photo on your boat, next to your boat, looking onto your boat or just on a waterside wintery walk.

2. Submit your photo by publishing it on social media as a post or story and tagging @aquavistawatersides and using the tag #christmasboatlife.

3. Campaign Period: This giveaway will run from the 12.00pm 3rd December 2021 to 11.59pm 31st December 2021 GMT. 
4. Restrictions: This giveaway is limited to those who reside within England.
5. Entry: To enter this giveaway simply share your snapshots walking by the water with us over social media using the #christmasboatlife. This can be on either Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. You can also enter via email to [email protected] with the subject header ‘christmasboatlife’.
6. Winner: After the competition closes at 11.59pm on the 31st December 2021, a winner will be selected completely at random using a name generator on the 7th January 2022.
7. Claiming: The winner of this giveaway will be announced on 7th January via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, as well as on the news page of our website. We will also announce the winner in the February issue of Vista. In order to claim the prize, you must contact Aquavista directly.
8. The prize will be arranged upon confirmation of the winner's details. There is no cost to receiving this prize.
9. Any entries to the competition will be considered as giving their permission to replicate use across Aquavista marketing channels, including, but not exclusive to – social media, website and print.
