Things to do in Bristol and nearby
Take the Kelston Roundhill walk from where, on a clear day, you can see the two Severn bridges, the Black Mountains, the Wiltshire Downs and the Mendip Hills. Stroll into Keynsham for shopping, eating and drinking, then explore Manor Road Community Woodland, where you can wander through woods and wild flower meadows, spot wildlife and enjoy spectacular views to the Cotswolds. For family fun, spend the day at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park and for history and culture, head to Bath, just 8.5 miles by road, or Bristol, one of England’s most exciting cities, just 8 minutes away by train (or 7 miles by boat).
