Terrier - £20,000
Terrier is a 33ft long x 8ft 9in wide wooden hulled historic harbour launch, built by Hugh McLean & Sons in 1954. She is fitted with a Beta Marina 50HP (fitted 2014) inboard diesel engine and has 3 berths.
Terrier is registered on the Historic Ships Register, and was refurbished by her current owner. Over her long history she was originally used as a harbour launch on the river Clyde, and a water taxi in the Suffolk area. She is Iroko on oak carvel boat built with Douglas fir deck beams.
Terrier's refurbishment has resulted in a boat that has a nod to her historic past, but has given her a modern feel. The galley is equipped with a gas hob, sink, microwave oven, fridge and storage cupboards. The heads in the bow benefit from a Porta Potti type chemical toilet and washbasin.
