Shes a beautiful 62ft, 6’10”, 6 berth narrowboat, built by Colecraft, fitted out by Harveys boat builders in 2010. Powered by a Beta Marine 43 engine. The traditional stern with the favourable reverse layout, benefits from quilt insulation.

From the Stern, step down to the engine bay, stepping down again to a small WC with toilet and basin. Into the dining area, a flexible space to use as either 2 singles or a make up king size bed. Through to the galley kitchen includes, 12V under counter fridge, Cooker with grill and 4 ring hob, stainless steel single bowl and drainer sink, and ample storage space.

Through the kitchen is the bedroom with a permanent double bed and wardrobe. The bathroom follows, with sink and under unit storage, tiled shower cubicle, and Thetford cassette toilet.

The living area is separate at the front of the boat, opening onto the bow. This is perfect for larger family or just wanting that bit extra space to create a second living space. Here is a sofa bed as well to accommodate another double bed, TV and plenty of storage cupbaords.

The bow comes with cratch cover.

Flying tortoise also benefits from bow thrusters, 230V mains by a Victron Multi Plus 3000 inverter, charger and shore power, along with x2 260W solar panels. The cabin is heated with radiators throughout (Aldi Compact 3010). Water is heated via the engine, and immersion heater, and calorifier.

She comes with an integral water tank, full owners manual and invoices for works. Serviced yearly by the current owners. Last blacked in 2023, BSC until Oct 2025.
